"As another rocker who has grown up and managed to incorporate adult concerns into their work without sacrificing the passion and energy of youth, Cidny Bullens deserves to be mentioned alongside such peers as Bruce Springsteen, John Hiatt, Bonnie Raitt and Steve Earle. ”

— No Depression

Cidny has laid himself bare and the results are wonderful!

Sir Elton John-June, 2020

Cidny Bullens’ Walkin’ Through This World has what our world needs right now: a brave statement by a seasoned rock and roll warrior. Slashing guitars and solid drums frame lyrics that are deeply personal, but equally universal. This is what Americana should be, roots rock that embraces the big tent that is this country, both in the story it tells and the range of musical influences from which it draws. Sounds recalling everything from Lou Reed to the Beatles are subsumed into one, distinctive artistic voice. In the glut of releases that are around even in this fraught time, this one is essential. Miss it at your peril.— Michael Ross (Guitar Player Magazine, Premier Guitar, Sound On Sound, Electronic Musician)
